Softball Spring House League Registration

Registration for the Northbrook Girls Softball Association’s House League Program is now open for all girls in 2nd–9th grades interested in playing softball. Our Spring House League Program is specifically designed for girls regardless of experience or ability.  Having fun and instruction (without pressure) are the main priorities of the House League.  Download the flyer for details.

Red Cross Babysitting Class

Students gain confidence and knowledge to care for infants and school-aged children in this one-time, six-hour class offered on Nov. 21 and Dec. 27 through Bernard Weinger JCC. Download the flyer for details.

Free Hockey Lesson

The Northbrook Bluehawks Hockey Team will offer a free hockey lesson for boys and girls ages 3 to 9 years old from 2:40 p.m. to 3:40 p.m. on Saturday, November 10 at the Northbrook Sports Center, 1730 Pfingsten Road. All participants must pre-register by visiting the Northbrook Park District website, NBPARKS.org. Registration Code is 8823.

"Curious George and the Golden Meatball"

Join this inquisitive, lovable monkey on his adventure that is sure to leave you singing and swinging down the aisles! The family-friendly show will be presented Saturdays at 10 a.m and 1 p.m. Oct. 6 through Nov. 10, and three weekday performances at the Northbrook Theater. Download the flyer for details.

Children's Book Drive to benefit CPS 

A book drive to benefit Chicago Public Schools is being held Nov. 1 - Nov. 15. Drop off new or gently used books for kids ages preK through 8th grade at the collection box at Northbrook Public Library. Download the flyer for more information.

 NSO Instructment drive The Northbrook Symphony is collecting band and orchestra instruments for underserved music students in Waukegan Public School. You can bring instruments to donate to Northbrook Junior High or any of the locations listed on the flyer. Get free symphony tickets for donating!
