Students Work on Coding Programs

NBJH students participated in #HourOfCode as part of Computer Science Education Week Dec. 3-7.

Making a GIF or moving a player in a game through obstacles sounds more like play than work, and that’s the purpose of introductory coding lessons – to break down barriers and demonstrate to our learners that anyone can learn coding.

Thanks to our team of technology educators including Kristine Pierce, Technology Instructional Coach, Becky Heller, Gifted and Talented Coordinator, and Claire Greene Library Media Specialist, students can access a Student Coding Dashboard for continued independent learning throughout the year.
