Students at St. Esthers High School for Girls

District 28 adopted a sister school in Nairobi, Kenya more than 10 years ago. The school, Spurgeon’s Academy, is located in Kibera slum and educates the most vulnerable of children, grades k-8. The proceeds from this year’s fundraiser will go to help graduating 8th-graders attend high school outside the slum, where they can continue their education in a safe environment.
