This approach allows us to provide information about community programs in a way that is environmentally friendly and cost-effective. Dine for Charity Dollars

Make dinner a selfless act by joining Northbrook Junior High raise money for its Charity of Choice. Come to Chipotle at 2324 Willow Road between 5 and 9 p.m. Oct. 16 and 33% of your purchase will be donated.

NTYA presents 'The Cat in the Hat'

Northbrook Theatre for Young Audiences brings professional actors to the stage for the production of Dr. Seuss's "The Cat in the Hat." There are performances on Saturdays and Sundays throughout October. See the flier details.
 NPD Autumnfest

Parks' Autumnfest is Oct. 12

Celebrate the season with activities for the whole family from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 12 at Meadowhill Park. See the flier for details

Navigating the Road Map for Your Child

When children are struggling, it can be overwhelming for parents as they sort through the wide variety of resources available at school and privately. CATCH is working to clear up the confusion with our next event: Navigating the Road Map for Your Child: Understanding Private Interventions and School-Based Supports coming up at 7 p.m. Thursday, November 7  at the Northbrook Public Library. GBN Orchesis Clinic

Glenbrook North High School Orchesis members are sponsoring a dance clinic from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 13 for students in 1st through 8th grade. Click for details

The Whole Family is Invited to Try Floor Hockey

Boys and girls in grades 1 through 4 are invited to try their skills at floor hockey from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Saturday, October 19 at Greenbriar School Gym. If you like it, sign up for a January floor hockey league. See the flier for details.
Northbrook Park District

School's Out Fun

Northbrook Park District is offering outings for children ages 5 to 12 on the days in October and November when school is not in session.
Register by Oct. 11 for the trip to AMC Theatres on Oct. 18
Register by Nov. 18 for the  trip to Jelly Belly Factory on Monday, Nov. 25 and for a day at the Northbrook Sports Center on Tuesday, Nov. 26.

Community Halloween Party

The Glenbrook North Key Club is hosting a Spook-tacular Community Halloween Party at Glenbrook North High School from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 30. Join a variety of clubs and teams that will have activities and treats for children on the evening before Halloween. Click for details.


GBN Feeder Basketball-Junior High

GBN Feeder Basketball will hold clinics for boys Oct. 22 and 24 with tryouts on Oct. 28. The clinic for girls will be held Oct. 29 with tryouts Nov. 5. Click the flier for details.
