Morning Staff

Chun  

Jenni Chun began working in District 28 in 2015. She works in the morning for KidCare at Westmoor in addition to being a fourth-grade instructional assistant at Meadowbrook. She said it is a pleasure to work with the lovely students at Westmoor and greets them every day with a big smile.

 
Jimenez
 

Maribel Jimenez works mornings at Westmoor KidCare and is also the after-school coordinator for Meadowbrook KidCare. This is Maribel’s third year at KidCare.

 
   

Afternoon Staff

 Bashaw Sydney Bashaw is excited for the opportunity to work with KidCare staff & students. A junior at Glenbrook North, this is her first year with KidCare.
Burns  Nolan Burns joins us for his second year. He is a sophomore at Oakton Community College and enjoys ethics and philosophy classes. Nolan is also a Glenbrook North graduate. Nolan gained experience working with children from helping his mom, who had in-home daycare service.
 Fahey Jake Fahey is a sophomore at Oakton Community College and a graduate of Glenbrook North. He shares his love of sports with the children in KidCare. This is his second year at KidCare.
 Ha

Emily Ha is excited to be a part of Kid Care this year. She has work experience with a wide range of ages and loves working with kids and getting to know them. Previously she has volunteered at the library to tutor and read to kids.  Recently she worked at a science camp where she was the assistant teacher. She is currently taking time off of college to pursue hobbies and consider different areas of study. She will create a safe and fun environment for your children at KidCare.

 
 Mosko  

Michael Mosko is super excited to be working at KidCare this year. He is a sophomore at Glenbrook North who enjoys working with students. In the past he has been a babysitter for many different families. He is looking forward to making this a great experience for the student. He plays volleyball and is a runner.

 
 Scanlan  Bob Scanlan loves working with children and is a substitute in the District. Bob is taking classes at a local university and is excited to be working with KidCare. He is a familiar face to some, having worked previously in KidCare for three to four years.
Sullivan   

Daisy Sullivan is joining our KidCare staff this year. She enjoys working with children. For the past two years she worked as an intern at Westmoor and will continue to work in the library this year.

 
 Susel Matthew Susmel is a football player and a senior at Glenbrook North. He attended Westmoor School.  Matthew is currently applying to colleges and is interested in majoring in finance or accounting. This is his third year with us at KidCare. 
   

Katie Weiderman is senior at Glenbrook North High School. She has been working at Westmoor KidCare since she was a freshman. She said she loves working at KidCare because she loves being around kids and being able to watch them grow. Getting to hang out with and help kids is something that she’s interested in because they all have so much energy and always want to play new games and use their imaginations!
