Eat for Education!
Take a day off from the kitchen and help raise money for the Fred Outa Foundation and your contribution will to children in need in Kenya. There are three events coming up!
April 27 - from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Panera Bread on Skokie Blvd.
May 3 - from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Meatheads on Willow Road
May 9 - all day at Marcellos in downtown Northbrook
Register for the HOH5K & Fun Run
Just added! A free Yoga class after the run! Advance registration still open and Registration will be accepted up to Race Day. Register for Adult 5K, Youth 5K and/or the Fun Run Obstacle Course for children in 5th grade or younger by visiting HOH5K.com
Gift Card Plus
Gift Card Plus is a District-wide fundraiser administered by the PTO Council that offers the opportunity to purchase gift cards from various retailers, including movie theaters, hotels, gas stations, restaurants, and specialty stores. Gift Card Plus revenue allows the Council to host family and parent programs, publish the calendar and directory, support the Traveling Art Show, and make a significant donation annually to the Homer O. Harvey Scholarship Fund. Please note that all orders must be submitted to your school representative by Tuesday, May 9. Online orders will be accepted thru Thursday, May 11. HOH Scholarship Shoe Drive
The HOH Scholarship Committee is holding a World Wear Project shoe drive for gently used shoes that will be distributed to people living in developing countries. Collections also help raise funds for the HOH Scholarship for high school seniors.
Gear 4 Goals
Gently used sports gear and musical instruments to help children locally and globally. Collection containers at all District 28 schools May 1 through June 2.
Dinner Theater with Glenbrook Foundation
Enjoy "A Night of Glenbrook Theater" and raise funds for the school foundation. Tickets available for the April 29 event.
Healthy Kids Day
The North Suburban YMCA is hosting an afternoon of fun family activities April 29 from 1 to 4 p.m., including Bubble Soccer, demonstrations, balloon animals and face-painting.
Bone Marrow Registry Drive
For Adults 18 and older, a simple swab will register you as a potential donor on April 30 at Congregation Beth Shalom.
NSSED Foundation 5K Run/Walk
Athletes of all levels and abilities are encouraged to participate in the May 21 event.

Science & Arts Academy Summer Adventures
As a day camp leader in the northwest suburbs for over 20 years, the summer program offers an eclectic mix of enriching education and developmentally appropriate recreation activities for 3-year-olds to children entering 8th grade. We welcome all children, regardless of the school they attend during the academic year or their achievement level.
Art Institute of Chicago Offers Summer Camps
Classes range from ages 4-18 and sessions start as early as June 12 and run during various sessions.
