4Teachers - A website for teachers to use to integrate technology into their classrooms. Resources such as Quizstar, Rubistar, Lesson Plans and Webquests can be found at this invaluable site.
Landmarks for School - Although there are many time-saving features to the site, teachers especially appreciate the templates for making rubrics. Web pages, and writing letters asking permission to use information on a Web site. Links to Web sites have descriptions of the site, ideas for using it in the classroom, and, with the click of a mouse, the Web site is linked to a template that can be used to create a lesson. After free registration, these lessons can be stored at the site and then linked to a classroom Web page for easy access by students.

Carol Hurst’s Children’s Literature Site - If you need some inspiration on how to make better use of classroom books, this site can help. A collection of book reviews, ways to use the books in the classroom, activities, and professional topics are just a few of the aspects of this website.
Aesop’s Fables: Online Collection - A treasure trove of fables makes this a great spot to visit during the study of Aesop. The collection has more than 625 of his tales as well as a variety of audioversions with which children can read along. Great highlights include background information on the life and times of Aesop, a selected group of 180 easy reading fables, and more than 120 easy fairy tales by Hans Christian Anderson.
S.C.O.R.E. Cyberguides - Cyberguides are supplementary, standards based, web delivered units of instruction centered on core works of literature. Divided by grade level, these guides provide ideas for using literature in the classroom. A number of literature titles can be used to make strong history connections for young people, as well.
Cite Your Sources - Here’s a handy guide to creating footnotes, end notes, and parenthetical references, also in question and answer format. It introduces students to MLA, Chicago, APA and Turabian style sheets.

The History Place- The History Place is a must-bookmark site for all history and social studies teachers. There are a variety of featured exhibits on topics ranging from Abraham Lincoln to the Irish Potato Famine.
Xpeditions Atlas - Here are over 1800 printable, black and white maps for students and teachers. Just select a continent, country, and a state or province, and a map will be displayed onscreen!
National Geographic Education - Click the orange tab at the top of the page that says Lesson Plans and connect to a few hundred lesson plans related to geography.

Kids can access a range of mathematical tools; take advantage of the excellent test prep, study tips or homework help, or hone their math skills with challenging puzzles, games, and one-minute interactive drills.
Laura Chandler’s Math File Cabinet - Laura Chandler is one of many math instructors who share materials with other teachers via the Web. However, her site is a stand out because it is so comprehensive. Many of her lessons take a fresh take on basic concepts; check out the inventive “Mr.Gallon” unit, which brings much needed life to studying measurement.
Kidzone Math - It’s “just the facts, ma’am” at this useful site, which offers online games and downloadable worksheets on the basics: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Have a collection of the worksheets on hand to fill a few minutes of time - and provide valuable practice for standardized tests.
