Shrek Jr. The Musical

More than 75 Northbrook Junior High School students are involved in the production of “Shrek Jr.” the musical, which will be presented March 9-11 at the school.

The students have been very involved in learning the lines, acting, singing and dancing since January for the shortened version of the Broadway production.

The show’s theme provides an uplifting message for audiences of all ages: No matter what we look like, we are all unique individuals and we would like to be recognized as such.

The show is directed by drama teacher David Downing and chorus teacher Anca Apetean.

The show will be presented at 7 p.m. March 9 and 10 and at 2 p.m. March 11. Tickets are available in the school office.
